Performance Auto Body Inc. is a family owned and operated business established in 1988. We have served the community doing quality work at our 20,000 sq foot facility since 1992.

The owners & employees take pride in their work to do the best possible repairs. We try to repair every car with the mind set of; “Is that how I would want my car repaired?”

The staff and employees of Performance Auto Body are “Car Guys” participating in a wide variety of events including car shows, various forms of racing, as well as charity events.

When involved in an accident, here are some suggestions that might prove helpful:

First, make sure everyone involved is alright or call 911

Notify the police in all cases

Even if the damage is minor, a police report may be helpful for evidence of what happened and who, if anyone, was charged or responsible for the accident

Take notice of damage to all vehicles involved and record tag numbers, make, models, and year of vehicles. If you have a camera take pictures of each vehicle involved

Write down the names, addresses, license numbers, and insurance information of all persons involved. If there are any witnesses, get their names and phones numbers.

Contact your insurance company as soon as possible, even if it is not your fault, they will give you instructions regarding your claim and rights.

This is a good time to ask if you have rental car coverage.

They may ask you to go to one of their shops or drive-in service centers to obtain an estimate. Make sure you give that paperwork to the shop of YOUR CHOICE. Remember that you have the right to take your vehicle to any shop of YOUR CHOICE. It is illegal to require you to use one of their shops. If YOUR CHOICE is on their list, then you’re fine.

If your vehicle is not drivable, then have it towed to the shop of YOUR CHOICE. If it is after hours, then the tow company may take it to their lot, but call them the next day to have the vehicle moved.

Keep record each time you speak with anyone including time, date, and their phone number. If you are not getting the answer or information you need don’t be afraid to ask for a manager or senior claims handler.

Frequently asked Questions:

Do you honor insurance estimates?

Yes, we honor most major insurance company’s estimates including State Farm, Allstate, Geico, USAA, Nationwide, Progressive, etc., as well as smaller insurance companies that work through third party adjusters.

How long does it usually take to complete a repair?

Most small jobs, such as bumpers, will generally take about 3-4 working days. Larger jobs will of course take longer. We will be able to give you an estimated completion date when you drop off your vehicle.

What do I do if I need a rental?

If a rental is needed we will refer you to Enterprise who will come and pick you up from our shop. For your convenience, Enterprise rent-a-car offers direct insurance billing for most insurance companies.

When is my deductible paid and how?

Your deductible payment should be made directly to our shop at completion of the work and pick up. The original insurance payment, if it was made to you, will also be due at this time. We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express as well as cash and checks.
